Geo-targeting is useful in order to show ads from different advertisement networks to visitors from different countries.
Follow the next steps:
- Create default short link, for example, https://short-link.me/ads for visitors from all countries, except countries listed below.
- Create a short link for visitors from the United States: https://short-link.me/ads-us.
- Create a short link for visitors from China: https://short-link.me/ads-cn.
- Create a short link for visitors from Korea: https://short-link.me/ads-kr.
… etc.
At the end of each geo-targeted short link write „-” and 2-letters country code.
All these short links may lead to different long links.
When a visitor attends URL https://short-link.me/ads , he will be redirected to the long link according to his country. If a link for his country is not created, then he will be redirected to the default link.
